Optimized Components And Protocols
The NucleosieveⓇ Total DNA Extraction Kit offers improved components and protocols that enhance the traditional spin-column methods. Each sample type undergoes a specific lysis procedure with an optimized buffer that boosts proteinase K activity and removes protein contamination. A chaotropic salt buffer ensures stable DNA binding to the column resin, while powerful wash buffers effectively eliminate any remaining proteins and salts. Finally, DNA is eluted in a low-salt buffer to stabilize the pH for long-term storage.
Higher Yield And Purity
With NucleosieveⓇ Genomic DNA Kits, you can expect high yields of high-purity genomic DNA (as determined by A260/A280 measurements), regardless of the sample type, from bacteria to viruses to tissues to blood to cultured cells. The improved Nucleosieve Lysis and Wash Buffers ensure consistent generation of purified genomic DNA samples with absorbance ratios around 1.8 for A260/A280, indicating no detectable contamination from protein or guanidine carryover.
