Proteinase K Stable at Room Temperature

Product Description

Proteinase K is a broad-spectrum endopeptidase with exceptionally high specific activity, enabling efficient digestion of proteins, including DNases and RNAses, during nucleic acid preparations. This process does not compromise the integrity of the isolated DNA or RNA.

Our Proteinase K solution is Stable for up to one year at ambient conditions and is recommended for extended storage at -20°C. Manufactured through a robust, standardized process to ensure high lot-to-lot consistency and performance reliability.

  • High activity in elevated temperatures (up to 56°C) and under denaturing conditions.
  • Stable over a wide pH range of 4.0–12.5 for use in a variety of applications.

RNA intact® is a nontoxic tissue RNA stabilization and storage reagent that rapidly infuses into tissues to stabilize and protect cellular RNA. RNA intact® solution can be used for the preservation plant and animal tissues and cells until RNA isolation. It prevents the degradation of RNA ensuring quality and quantity of RNA obtained after subsequent RNA isolation.

RNA intact® facilitates the collection and storage of specimens from remote locations as it preserves the integrity of RNA until sample processing.

Storage And Stability:

Store RNA intact® Solution at room temperature.

Sample Types Compatible With RNA intact® Solution

RNA intact® Solution can be used for RNA preservation with plants and animal tissues.

RNA Isolation From RNA intact® Solution:

RNA intact® Solution is compatible with most RNA isolation methods. Samples stored in RNA intact® Solution have been used successfully with TresZol ™ , and all of Nucleosieve®RNA isolation kits and reagents, including: the Nucleosieve® RNA plus total RNA extraction Kit, the Nucleosieve® Plant RNA extraction Kit.

Guidelines For Use

  • Only use fresh tissue with RNA intact® Solution
  • Avoid freezing tissues before submerging them in the solution.
  • Cut a big piece of tissue into small pieces before submerging it in RNA intact® ®Solution.
  • Add 1-5 volumes of RNA intact Solution to the fresh tissue.
  • The RNA intact® Solution samples can be kept for about 72 hours at room temperature without losing their RNA effectiveness, and for long term store at -20°C or -80°C

Animal Tissue

RNAintact® Solution preserves RNA integrity, allowing tissues to be stored for extended periods without compromising RNA quality. Small organs, such as mouse liver, kidney, and spleen, can be stored whole in the solution. RNA can be efficiently isolated from tissues stored in RNAintact® Solution, using standard extraction methods.

Plant Tissue

Almost all plant types can be used with RNA intact® ®. If the plant tissue is large in size, make it into small pieces before submerging in the solution.

Storage In RNA intact® Solution

If Refrigeration Available

Storage at –80°C.:
It is advised to store RNA intact® added samples at –80°C for optimal preservation, as this will maintain the samples indefinitely. RNA intact® Solution will freeze at –80°C. To prepare samples for storage at this temperature, incubate them in RNA intact® Solution overnight at 4°C to ensure complete tissue penetration, then move them to –80°C for storage.

Storage at –20°C:
Storage at –20°C is suitable for archiving samples. While the samples won't freeze at this temperature, crystals may form, though this will not impact future RNA extraction. The samples can be stored at –20°C for an unlimited period.To prepare samples for –20°C storage, incubate them overnight in RNA intact® Solution at 4°C to ensure complete tissue penetration, then move them to –20°C.

Storage at 4°C:
Samples in RNA intact® solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 2 weeks without significant RNA degradation.

TransEasy Rapid Transformation Kit uses a novel method for rapid preparation of chemically-competent E. coli cells from overnight bacterial cultures or bacterial colonies. This kit utilizes uniquely formulated solutions for preparing competent cells rapidly. Our easy and simple protocol ensures competency of the treated E. coli cells enabling high transformation efficiency of ≥107 transformants per μg of plasmid DNA. The option to use bacterial colonies for preparation of competent cells adds flexibility to any cloning experiment.

TresZol Reagent is a ready-to-use, all-in-one solution for isolating high-quality total RNA, or for concurrently isolating RNA, DNA, and protein from various biological samples. This monophasic mixture of phenol and guanidine isothiocyanate is formulated to separate RNA, DNA, and protein fractions from cell and tissue samples of human and animal cells, tissue, plant or bacterial sources in under 1 hour.

Effectively Isolate RNA From Various Sample Volumes And Sources With Consistent Results

TresZol Reagent is effective with both small amounts of tissue (50–100 mg) and cells (5 × 10^6), as well as larger amounts (≥1 g of tissue and >10^7 cells). It can be used to purify RNA from human, animal, plant, or bacterial sources. The reagent preserves RNA integrity by effectively inhibiting RNAse activity while disrupting cells and dissolving cellular components during sample homogenization. The simplicity of the TresZol Reagent method enables the processing of many samples simultaneously, with the entire procedure completed in just one hour. The total RNA isolated using TresZol Reagent is free from protein and DNA contamination.

Designed For The Isolation Of Multiple Molecular Targets:

TresZol Reagent enables the sequential precipitation of RNA, DNA, and proteins from a single sample. After homogenizing the sample with TresZol Reagent, chloroform is added, causing the mixture to separate into three layers: a clear upper aqueous layer (containing RNA), an interphase, and a red lower organic layer (containing DNA and proteins). RNA is precipitated from the aqueous layer using isopropanol, DNA is precipitated from the interphase/organic layer with ethanol, and protein is precipitated from the Organic phase.
