The Nucleosieve® Soil DNA Extraction Kit is designed for rapid and cost-effective extraction of microbial, plant and animal DNA from diverse soil samples . Samples are lysed with the aid of glass beads. This kit utilizes specialized buffers to remove humic substances and other inhibitors from soil and sediment samples. The silica membrane spin column ensures complete removal of all inhibitors of PCR and other enzymatic reactions. The purified DNA is of the highest quality.
Nucleosieve® Soil DNA Extraction kit provides the fastest and easiest way to purify soil DNA for reliable use in amplification technologies. This Kit uses 3 different lysis buffers to release DNA, followed by rapid and efficient precipitation of proteins, leaving all nucleic acids in solution.

The Nucleosieve® Soil DNA Extraction Kit can be used for the isolation of microbial, plant and animal DNA from diverse soil samples such as top soil, clay, sediment and compost. This kit is also suitable for the extraction of microbial DNA from Marine sediments.

Finally, DNA is eluted in a low-salt buffer to stabilize the pH for long-term storage.

The improved Nucleosieve Lysis and Wash Buffers ensure consistent generation of purified genomic DNA samples with absorbance ratios around 1.8 for A260/A280, indicating no detectable contamination from protein or guanidine carryover.
