The Nucleosieve® Microbiome DNA Extraction Kit offers improved components and protocols that enhance the traditional spin-column methods. Each sample type undergoes a specific lysis procedure with an optimized buffer that removes protein contamination. A chaotropic salt buffer ensures stable DNA binding to the silica column , while powerful wash buffers effectively eliminate any remaining proteins and salts. Finally, DNA is eluted in a low-salt buffer to stabilize the pH for long-term storage.

Higher Yield And Purity:

The improved Nucleosieve Lysis and Wash Buffers ensure consistent generation of purified genomic DNA samples with absorbance ratios around 1.8 for A260/A280, indicating no detectable contamination from protein or guanidine carryover.
